"How to Get Your Dealers License" Manual

NUMBER ONE QUESTION: Is it possible to get your retail dealers license WITHOUT a "Car Lot"? You bet your bottom dollar there is! For the auto broker business model I teach, you don't NEED a car lot nor do you want one! BUT, you will need your license! I'll tell you what my recommendations are in the training material. Once you see my plan, you will immediately see why it makes sense. Getting your dealers license does not require a degree in physics but its does require some patience! Getting any license from the state takes some time, hassle, & frustration. But the key is... "Is it Worth It?". Heck yeah! You will need a bond which means you need good to great credit to make it affordable. You CAN have a felony as long as its not fraud or automotive related. You do NOT need a car lot on the interstate. You WILL need a place of business. There is a big difference there.   1. If you are wanting to operate a REAL used car business, don't waste your time and energy trying to figure out how to get around the dealer regulations. Getting your license is NOT the expensive part of this business folks. Its simply a cost of doing business. The profit potential FAR exceeds this price. PLUS, its kinda near to drive your inventory around with a dealer plate on it.
  2. Getting your license (any license for that matter) from your state IS a hassle and a bit of a pain. Deal with it. Once again, is it worth the time, hassle, and frustration? Of course!
  3. You are NOT going to get your license out of your house. Forget about it. Don't thinking about it. Refer to #1!

Need a Paint Thickness Gauge?

I always recommend one. I love the Positest DFT Combo! Its like having a second set of eyes helping you detect paintwork! You see, the manufacturers put on a VERY even coating of paint. Honda's, for example, generally have 4.5 mils of paint on the panels. Lets pretend you measure the door and it reads 4.7, the fender reads 4.3, and then the quarter panel reads 12.3! Let me tell you right now, that quarter panel has been painted! Stay away from paintwork cars - ESPECIALLY if you are auto brokering.
